FRANCE– Team Vitality, an eSports team based in France, had recently announced that they had added CORSAIR to their roster of big-name partners.
The gaming peripheral manufacturer agreed to a multi-year arrangement, in which they will provide the players of Team Vitality with state-of-the-art gaming equipment, such as the Nightsword RGB Tunable Gaming Mouse and the K70 RGB Mk.2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
CORSAIR will also be in charge of outfitting the V-Hive Paris HQ and training space at Stade De France with new PCs and their best gaming gear. The financial specifics of this agreement, however, remain unrevealed.
Such a high-end loadout will serve the team well in the high-stakes games that they will play throughout the year, says Team Vitality CEO Nicolas Maurer.
Since Team Vitality’s founding in 2013, it has participated in several major eSports tournaments. The team has since enjoyed high win-loss ratios, particularly in CS:GO.
As of the moment, Team Vitality has 50 team members in its roster, including some of the best eSports gamers in France, and even worldwide.
Maurer praised CORSAIR, saying that they’re an “esteemed brand” and having them in the fold is a testament to their continued growth in the world of eSports. He went on to say that Team VItality is proud to be at the forefront of a rising sector such a eSports, pushing the bounds with big-name partnerships and contributing to its expansion.
He also said that this collaboration is an “ambitious project” for both involved, and will depend on a well-developed, wide-scoped activation plan.
On the other hand, CORSAIR’s Gaming Marketing Director, Lauren Premo, expressed their excitement at the partnership with “the biggest name in French eSports”.
Premo said that Team Vitality’s track record of major victories have given them a large presence on the worldwide eSports stage. CORSAIR is eager to see them win even more, this time equipped with top-of-the-line CORSAIR gear.
CORSAIR will be alongside other prominent sponsors in supporting Team Vitality. These include Renault Sport, Quersus, a gaming chair brand, Adidas, and Orange.
Several other eSports teams are using CORSAIR hardware as well, however, such as Schalke 04 eSports, Team Secret, Method, Invictus Gaming, and Berlin International Gaming. CORSAIR also runs the CORSAIR DreamHack Masters, their own eSports event, as well as other competitions.
The V-Hive complex, a large PC gaming café owned by Team Vitality, will allow CORSAIR Gaming PCs and peripherals to be accessed by the public as soon as their hardware is delivered.
