Shortly after the 2019 League of Legends European Championship Summer Split All-Pro team was revealed, new awards have been announced. The Rookie and Coach of the LEC Summer Split are Rogue Jungler Kacper “Inspired” Słoma and G2 Esports Coach Fabian “GrabbZ” Lohmann respectively.

Kacper “Inspired” Słoma
Inspired took first place as Rookie of the 2019 LEC Summer Split. Rogue mid laner Emil “Larssen” Larsson came in second place, with just one point less. Following that, SK Gaming mid-laner Janik “Jenax” Bartels took third. Inspired joined Rogue’s LEC roster for the Summer Split, replacing Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek. He is the second youngest player to play in the LEC.
The American esports organization that joined the EU LCS in 2019 started off with lackluster results in the 2019 LEC Spring Split. The team finished dead last with 2 wins and 16 losses. However, after the organization made several roster changes, the team was able to finish the Summer Split in fifth. The roster also made it to Summer Playoffs where the team won against Splyce but then got knocked out by FC Schalke 04.
Fabian “GrabbZ” Lohmann
GrabbZ won first as the 2019 LEC’s Coach of the Summer Split. Splyce coach Hadrien “Duke” Forestier came in second. Like with Inspired, GrabbZ finished one point over the second-place finalist. Fnatic coach Joey “Youngbuck” Steltenpool took third place. GrabbZ joined G2 Esports as a coach in December of 2017, from prior roles on Unicorns of Love, Giants Gaming, and Team ROCCAT.
G2 Esports had a stellar 2019. The team finished first at 2019’s LEC Spring Splits. On top of this, G2 Esports did the same at Spring Playoffs and beat Team Liquid to win 2019’s Mid-Season Invitational. The team also took first at the North America vs. Europe Rift Rivals event. Since then, G2 Esports placed first at 2019’s LEC Summer Split with 15 wins and 3 losses.
G2 Esports emerged victorious against Fnatic in Round 2 of the LEC Summer Playoffs. They will go on to play in the finals against the winner between Fnatic and FC Schalke 04. The winner will receive €80,000 and a slot to 2019’s World Championships Main Event.
